A comprehensive eye examination consists of, but is not limited to: a glasses prescription ($85-99) and retinal screening through photography ($29) or dilation ($30). Although California law does not require retinal screening to receive prescriptions, without retinal screening many ocular disease can go undiagnosed and undocumented within the eye. To better ensure the health your eyes, it is highly recommended to receive either retinal photos or dilation upon your annual to semi-annual visit.
