About Us
Bream Optometry has been serving the Santa Barbara county since 2001. Our office prides itself on a highly trained staff, advanced equipment, and exceptional Doctors.
The practice is owned and run by Dr. Cory Bream and is conveniently located inside the Goleta Costco, next to the optical center.
Dr. Bream has work to establish an affordable and accessible service for all that is trusted by the Santa Barbara county county community and surrounding cities.

Dr. Bhumika pandya O.D.
Dr. Bhumika Pandya is a native to Southern California and attended the University of California, Irvine to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Public Health Sciences. She then attended Western University of Health Sciences where she studied to become a Doctor of Optometry. Dr. Pandya completed extensive clinical training at Optometry Medical Group Seattle, the Eye Care Institute Los Angeles, VA Orlando, and VA Tulsa Oklahoma. Dr. Pandya is board certified to manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Pandya looks forward to improving her patients' vision and overall health.
Dr. Gissel Coto O.D.
Dr. Gissel Coto is a board-certified Doctor of Optometry with an impressive academic background.
She holds a bachelor's degree from Cal Poly, with a unique dual major in Philosophy and Microbiology. After completing her undergraduate studies, she pursued her optometry education at IAUPR (Inter American University of Puerto Rico) School of Optometry.
During her training, Dr. Coto demonstrated a compassionate approach to healthcare by providing medical assistance to bed-ridden patients in Puerto Rico. Bilingual in both Spanish and English, she brings a warm and engaging communication style to our practice.
Her patients appreciate her energetic personality and her thorough, informative approach to comprehensive eye examinations. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Coto maintains an active lifestyle, enjoying workouts and traveling during her leisure time
Dr. Ahmad "AJ" El-Ghali O.D.
Dr. Ahmad El-Ghali is a board-certified optometrist with a diverse educational and professional background. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Biology from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and completed his Doctor of Optometry at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico (IAUPR) School of Optometry.

As the new owner of Bream Optometry, Dr. El-Ghali is committed to continuing the practice's legacy of exceptional patient care established by Dr. Cory Bream. His professional experience includes dedicated service to underserved communities in Puerto Rico and the Paso Robles area.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. El-Ghali enjoys an active lifestyle, with hobbies that include beach activities, weightlifting, snowboarding, and playing video games.
Dr. Jaskiran Kaur O.D.
Want to be seen sooner? Dr. Jaskiran Kaur, OD, is helping guide Bream Optometry into the future by offering convenient virtual eye exams. Through the assistance of a specially trained technician who manages the equipment and imaging, Dr. Kaur is able to provide the same thorough, comprehensive eye exams you can trust—without the long wait times. Please note that because Dr. Kaur participates virtually, any treatments or in‑office procedures will be managed by our on‑site doctors.
Dr. Jaskiran Kaur, OD completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis. She then earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Inter American University of Puerto Rico where she was recognized for Clinical Excellence. Dr. Kaur remains active in her profession as a published author of Optometry articles that provide doctor-to-doctor education, and as a member of the American Optometric Association and California Optometric Association. Dr. Kaur is a dedicated optometrist who places patient care at the center of every exam.
